The Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee (AMFOC), the host of Asia’s largest modeling contest across 27 Asian countries, will take part in the “AI Human Metaverse Project” consortium which is a genome-based metaverse project.
This consortium comprises a number of AI-based tech companies such as Maxst, a leading AR·VR company, game platform and content developer ClassSoft, and international genome analysis company EONE-Diagnomics.
Along with EONE-Diagnomics, the modeling contest organizer will join the metaverse project where the gene analysis company’s big data engine “YouWho” will be used to create metaverse characters based on the model’s genetic information.
AMFOC will utilize its extensive modelling network across Asia to create a metaverse market for models. The committee said it will help top Asian models get hired in the metaverse, and conduct marketing promotions across Asia by creating video content for fashion, beauty, and fitness.
AMFOC is also planning to expand its business into creating NFT content through video clips of the models.
The Asia Model Festival, celebrating its 17th year anniversary this year, is the largest modelling contest in Asia where models from 27 Asian countries compete for the title of Asia’s top model.
