Jisoo, a member of K-pop girl group Lovelyz, has tested positive for COVID-19, according to her record label, Woollim Entertainment, Wednesday.

The company said in a statement that Jisoo, 27, was tested for COVID-19 after being told on Monday that she came into contact with a person who had contracted the virus.

“The result came out Tuesday and Jisoo tested positive,” Woollim said. “She is currently in self-isolation adhering to quarantine guidelines.”

All other Lovelyz members ― Baby Soul, Jiae, Mijoo, Kei, Jin, Sujeong and Yein ― tested negative after taking the test on Tuesday afternoon. However, the septet and their staff members will have to quarantine themselves until July 4.

“We apologize for fueling worries,” Woollim said. “We will put the safety of our artists and employees first and take follow-up steps based on the guidelines provided by health authorities.”

Jisoo debuted as a Lovelyz member in 2014 with the album, “Girls’ Invasion.” As part of the group, she released a string of hits, including, “Ah-Choo” (2015) and “Destiny” (2016). The eight-piece act dropped its seventh mini-album, “Unforgettable,” last September and grabbed the top spots on multiple streaming charts with the lead single, “Obliviate.”
