Singer Yugyeom is making his solo debut ― the 23-year-old K-pop star, a member of boy band GOT7, released a music video for the song “I Want U Around” featuring DeVita, Friday.
The moody video opens with Yugyeom tied up in a dark and misty forest. The singer is later seen dancing, while DeVita makes an appearance holding a torch.
“I Want U Around” is the lead track off Yugyeom’s forthcoming debut solo EP, “Point of View: U.” Yugyeom will release the mini album June 17.
“Point of View: U” features “I Want U Around” and six other songs, including “Running Through the Rain” and “All About U.”
Yugyeom came to fame with GOT7, which also consists of Mark, Jay B, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae and BamBam. The group released its fourth Korean album, “Breath of Love: Last Piece,” in November. (UPI)
