TV personality Jun Hyun-moo will be back on MBC’s popular reality show, “I Live Alone,” after leaving the show in 2019.
The show’s production team revealed that Jun joined the taping of its 400th episode anniversary special, Monday.
“Starting with the special episode, Jun will return to the program as a regular cast member,” the team said.
Jun joined the show, which followed the single lives of celebrities, in 2013 and acted as the main host for about six years, notching the highest honor at MBC’s year-end Entertainment Awards in 2017 with the show.
He and fellow cast member and model Han Hye-jin admitted they were dating in early 2018, but the couple broke up a year later, leading both to quit the show.
Jun made a brief cameo later, but this will be his first official return to the show.
The TV personality debuted as an anchorman for local news channel YTN, before becoming a full-time announcer at state-run broadcaster KBS.
Since leaving his announcer position in 2012, he has been hosting various TV shows, including popular music shows, “Phantom Singer” and “Hidden Singer,” and reality show, “Omniscient Interfering View.” He has been decorated many times with entertainment awards from networks such as KBS and SBS, and won Best Male Variety Performer at the Baeksang Arts Awards in 2019.
